You are worth the investment
A Wells education is an investment in your bright future. With real-world internships, self-designed majors, and professors whose guidance extends far beyond the classroom, you will have many valuable experiences under your belt by graduation.
99% of Wells students receive institutional grant or scholarship funds.
Let us help you pursue the college education you deserve!
Nearly 2/3 of tuition can be covered by institutional funds. 100+ endowed awards are also offered to help with your Wells education investment.
Your education is a significant investment and we are committed to helping you every step of the way. Wells College is need-blind — your need for financial assistance has no impact on your chance for admission.
We will automatically consider you for Wells merit-based scholarships when we review your completed admission application.
To be eligible for need-based financial aid from Wells College, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Students can access and begin filling out the FAFSA as early as October 1. Students who have a FAFSA on fine with Wells by December 1 are eligible for an additional $500 grant.
If you are eligible to receive need-based aid, you may receive a mix of grants, scholarships, student loans, and campus work-study. For more information about financial aid, please feel free to contact the Financial Aid Office through email or call 315-364-3289.
