  • Do you know a junior in your high school who stands out from the crowd?
  • A student who is spirited, bright, and forward-thinking?

We invite you to nominate two (2) outstanding students from your school for the 21st Century Leadership Award.

This award celebrates high school juniors for their exemplary spirit, steadfast integrity, dedication to academics, and leadership qualities. Honorees receive special admissions events, priority application review, and a $10,000* pre-scholarship per year of study at Wells College. A maximum of two (2) qualifying students can be nominated by counselors from each school. Qualified candidates must have:
  • A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (85%) or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and/or potential through school and community activities

Please note that as an NCAA Division III college, athletic participation is not considered when selecting candidates for this award.

*Most 21st Century Leadership Award recipients are also eligible for other merit-based scholarships. The $10,000 for this award will be used to grant the maximum scholarship amount allowed by the institution
